About Us

Hong Kong China Tourism Press, established in 1980, rolled out the monthly magazine “China Tourism” in July of the same year. For more than 40 years, we have used fascinating and diversified pictures as well as informative and vivid texts to provide in-depth coverage of China's beautiful scenery, geography, folklore, historical monuments, culture and arts, and so on, attracting a large number of readers and travelers at home and abroad, and becoming the most authoritative magazine introducing China's tourism, highly beloved by readers and photography enthusiasts.

Over the years, we have covered 34 provinces, cities, autonomous regions and special administrative regions in China. Many of China’s most famous tourist attractions were first reported by China Tourism. We have also published a series of books on tourism, photography, culture and geography, which have been well received by a wide range of readership.

In addition to publishing, we regularly organize travel and photography seminars, inviting our journalists and experienced photographers to share their wonderful works and travel experiences with readers. Since 2002, we have organized a series of photography events, Cross-Strait Photographers’ “Record of 24 Hours in China” and “World Chinese Photographers in Focus”, bringing together the world's top Chinese photographers and editorial teams to publish more than 20 volumes of the “Record of 24 Hours in China” and the “Impression of the World” series of photography books.

We have also set up the China Tourism Photo Library, for which over 1,000 professional photographers have accumulated hundreds of thousands of pictures of China's landscapes, ethnic groups, customs and traditions, architecture, monuments, and new cityscapes, and so on. It is the largest photo library of China in Hong Kong, offering rental and sale of pictures to publishers, industrial and commercial enterprises, and educational organizations.
